World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Upgrades to items are an essential aspect of preparing your character. Upgrades increase the base damage as well as the enchantments of items.
They also offer bonus effects and improvements. They can be purchased by contacting the Blacksmith.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds a level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapon
If a weapon is upgraded, it gets a base damage bonus and a scaling factor which affects other stats. Some upgrade components have aesthetic effects while others give additional features. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. The majority of them require that the item has an upgrade slot and that it meets certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from a weapon, armor or trinket, but it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be found by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-tier salvage tool on the item itself.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that improves certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier it can be done up to four times.
After the weapon has reached its maximum level of improvement, it can then be reforged to add different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. These upgrades can all be applied at once and their effects will depend on how rare the weapon is.
Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the kind of damage a weapon can cause.
In upgrade item , it's best to increase the damage of your weapon first. Then, you can upgrade your armour defense and, finally, the secondary stats that are required by your build. In particular, it is common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon before any other gear, because it will increase DPS. This is particularly applicable to enchantments that increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to increase the effectiveness of specific weapons, armors trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, like an increase in damage or a cosmetic enhancement. Item upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors or loot drops, or as rewards for quests.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In the majority of cases an item of armor will be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. Most types of armor are upgradeable, however certain items (such as the starter armour in Great Sky Island) cannot.
Most armor upgrades provide some improvement to the item's defense or strength. Certain upgrades, however, can result in significant increases in defense or strength. This is especially true when upgrading epic items.
Certain upgrades offer specific abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be extremely beneficial in combat. For instance, they can boost the speed of attack or block. Some upgrades also provide useful passive effects, for instance decreasing the amount of damage taken while wearing armor or adding the ability to deflect attacks.

Upgrades to armor may require several attempts, depending on the type. For example, if a player wanted to upgrade an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between the ages of 59-67. The second attempt will result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor that has a base defense of between 67-77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains that are located in the game. Each of these locations contains a powerful fair who can improve a piece of armor for you.
Contrary to popular belief, armor in The Division 2 is not in any way useless. The truth is that some armors come with very substantial enhancements to poison or curse, fire or magic damage reduction, which makes them extremely useful for specific builds. There are other ways to boost the stats of armor besides upgrading armor, such as using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease the total weight.
Potion
When you put a potion into a brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new effect tier, and is able to be repeated to unlock more potencies.
The potions also get a custom color, which can be selected by the player via /give. The color will affect the clouds that affect the area of effect as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion colour also applies to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions and difficult potions, now have a different brewing texture. The potion of weakness was added to the potion of healing in Creative inventory. There are lingering potions available that can be made with dragon breath or splash potions and a thick pot that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:45). Problems related to this update can be tracked on the Bug Tracker.
Trinket
A trinket can be described as a small inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a ring or necklace. It could also be a small banner used to mark the yard of a boat. It could also refer to a trinket that is gilded on the mast of a ship.
This macabre trinket appears to be influencing the residents of this maze by making them more prevalent. At the moment it makes all types of mimic Xx more popular and gives each floor a Y% chance to contain an ebony-colored mimic. Upgrades to this trinket will cost a moderate amount energy.
The magic of this enchanted scepter appears to affect the dungeon itself and making it more likely to generate grass and water. This trinket at the current level will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It does not alter glyphs, enchantments, cursed armor or weapons, or other items that are created to solve danger rooms.
Although it appears to be a normal newt's eye, this mysterious object appears to be affecting your vision in ways other than simply reducing your field of view. This trinket, at its current level, boosts the health benefits of drinking potions of healing and wells of life by X%, and gives you mind-sight on enemies within the Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with the Heightened Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside crates and chests in Skull Cavern. They are not in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will have a random impact on the trinket either extending its lifespan or strengthening its effects. You can reorge the trinket as often as you'd like but it will always be able to produce the same effect.
You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost you 6 energy, but will increase the power of the trinkets by a small amount.
